Catch Up Sessions – August 2021
4 x 90-minute one-to-one online tutoring sessions via Zoom
Taking place each week during August
Weekly sessions focus on writing skills needed for each GCSE English examination.
- Week One – English Language: Creative reading and writing
- Week Two – English Language: Viewpoints and perspectives
- Week Three – English Literature: Shakespeare and the nineteenth century novel
- Week Four – English Literature: Modern texts and poetry
Employing a mix of reading, discussion, analysis and writing exercises, plus exam technique, timing and essay planning, these workshops are designed to help to improve your child’s writing skills and to assist them in working towards taking their GCSE English examinations.
