A teacher, writer and walking artist. My writing is mostly concerned with sense of place, environment, memory and childhood. I teach creative writing, run workshops and organise events for writers of all ages and levels.

  • GCSE English Literature and English Language
  • I am an experienced GCSE English tutor, teaching one to one online via Zoom
  • I work flexibly with each student, tailoring my teaching to suit their individual needs.

KNITBONE AT IMBOLC

The cast is off
This snake has shed its skin
And won’t be charmed back in

If a plaster cast could be a metaphor
For the past, I will remember
How rigidly it bound me

I cast a spell banishing
Then
Casting on, knitting
Now
Blasting off
